Seen properly.
Seen today.

From a first examination to a same-day emergency — the same small team, at the same address.

A principal dentist, an associate dentist and a dental hygienist who look after your whole mouth — examinations, gum care, urgent problems and honest cosmetic advice — at 12 Wimpole Mews, Marylebone, London W1P 0PC.

A calm private dental treatment room.

Unhurried appointments, honestly advised

Every new patient starts with a full examination — each tooth, each existing filling and crown, the health of the gums, and a soft-tissue check that includes a mouth-cancer screen — before anything is recommended. Where treatment is optional, we say so; where a tooth is best left alone, we say that too. Nothing is sold in the chair.

What Solura Dental is

A great deal of dental trouble comes from small things left too long — a check-up postponed, a chipped filling ignored, gums that bleed a little more each year. Solura Dental is built around catching those things early, in appointments long enough to do the job properly.

The same small team looks after you throughout. Your examination, your hygiene visits and any treatment that follows are planned together, so nothing is repeated and nothing falls between appointments.

When something genuinely needs a specialist — complex oral surgery, implants, orthodontics — we say so plainly and refer you to the right colleague, with your notes and X-rays sent ahead. What Solura Dental provides is the assessment, the routine and urgent care, and an honest account of your options.

A calm, light practice interior.

Complete dental care

Routine, urgent and cosmetic dentistry handled by one small team — you are not passed around, and you are never sold treatment you do not need.

  • Examinations and X-rays
  • Hygiene and gum care
  • Fillings and restorations
  • Root canal treatment
  • Extractions
  • Whitening, bonding and veneers

Where a case calls for a specialist — complex oral surgery, implants or orthodontics — we refer you to the right colleague and say why. Your routine care stays with us.

Why it's different

Appointments long enough to be thorough

A new patient examination here is long enough to examine every tooth, chart your gums and screen the soft tissues of the mouth — and long enough to explain what we found in plain English before you leave, with written costs for anything we recommend.

Emergencies seen the day you call

A broken tooth, severe pain or a knocked-out tooth does not join a waiting list. Call when it happens and we will see you the same day, during opening hours — Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm.

The dentists

A small, settled team — the people who examine you are the people who treat you.

Dr Eleanor Whitmore

Dr Eleanor Whitmore

Principal Dentist

Dr Whitmore (BDS) leads the practice. Her particular care is preventive dentistry — finding and treating problems while they are still small — and she carries out the practice's new patient examinations, restorative work and cosmetic consultations.

Dr Sam Okafor

Dr Sam Okafor

Associate Dentist

Dr Okafor (BDS) has a special interest in nervous patients. He works slowly, explains everything before it happens, and many of his patients had not seen a dentist for years before their first appointment with him. He shares the routine and emergency work of the practice.

Priya Shah

Priya Shah

Dental Hygienist

Priya leads the hygiene and gum care side of the practice — scaling, polishing, and the practical teaching that keeps gum disease from coming back. She sees patients alongside their check-ups and for standalone hygiene visits.

The wider team

The three clinicians are supported by our reception and dental-nursing team, who look after appointments, records and the practical side of every visit — and who will usually be the first voice you hear when you call.

How it works

1
Getting in touch
Call the practice — the line answers day and night, and your appointment is booked and confirmed on the call. No referral is needed, and new patients are welcome — including those who have not seen a dentist for a long time.
2
Examination
A full new patient examination: every tooth, your existing dental work, the health of your gums, and a soft-tissue check that includes a mouth-cancer screen.
3
X-rays, where warranted
Digital X-rays are taken in-house when the examination calls for them — not routinely, and always explained.
4
The plan
We go through what we found in plain English — what needs treating, what is worth watching, and what is best left alone — with written costs before you decide anything. The decision is made with you, not for you.
5
Treatment, if needed
Treatment is booked at your pace, with the same team. Where a specialist is genuinely needed, we refer you, send your notes and X-rays ahead, and say why.
